Your Magical Quarterly Review

Give yourself the gift of a regular magical review

If you’ve ever worked in a business setting, or even run an enterprise of your own, you’ve probably seen the power of a good quarterly review. It’s a time to pause, zoom out, and look at what’s working, what’s not, and where the next focus should be. This shouldn’t be focused on beating yourself up over missed goals but on learning, evolving, and getting better at what you do. Now imagine applying that same practice to your magical life. What if, every few months, you sat down with a cup of tea, your journal (or grimoire), and your favorite divination tool, and reflected on your spiritual progress with the same intention and clarity a CEO brings to a strategy meeting? A quarterly check-in can help you grow your practice with heart, purpose, and perspective.

Why quarterly? Well, because three months is kind of a sweet spot. It’s long enough to see patterns but short enough to pivot when things aren’t working. It aligns beautifully with the seasons and sabbat cycles, giving you natural energetic markers to work with. It’s also common in business strategy because it keeps teams aligned without overwhelming them with constant reviews. In magical terms, a quarterly review lets you celebrate your growth, release what’s not serving you, realign your intentions, and prepare for any energetic shifts ahead. It’s like seasonal housekeeping for your soul.

You can make your Magical Business Review as structured or as intuitive as you like, but here are some areas you may want to reflect on:

Your Intentions & Goals

  • What goals did you set last quarter? Did you achieve them?
  • Did your focus shift—and if so, why?
  • What intentions still feel alive? Which need to be released or rewritten?
  • This is a great time to pull out any SMART goals, manifestation plans, or spell tracking sheets you’ve been using.

Your Energy & Engagement

  • What practices energized you?
  • Where did you feel drained or resistant?
  • Were you showing up consistently, or falling into magical burnout?
  • Use this section to reflect honestly on how sustainable your practice felt, and how it could be adjusted.

Tools, Spells, and Techniques

  • What magical tools or techniques did you try?
  • Which ones felt powerful? Which fell flat?
  • Did you learn anything new? Take any risks?
  • Think of this as reviewing your “product performance.” What spells delivered real results? Which ones need a refresh?

Signs, Synchronicities & Results

  • Did the universe deliver in ways you expected or didn’t expect?
  • What feedback did you receive (dreams, omens, outcomes)?
  • What themes or patterns emerged?
  • Treat this like reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs)… but of the mystical kind.

Community & Support

  • Did you connect with guides, deities, ancestors, or peers?
  • How supported did you feel—by spirit and by humans?
  • Are there relationships you want to nurture next quarter?

Once you’ve reviewed the past quarter, you’re ready to plan ahead with purpose. Ask yourself: What’s your primary magical focus for the next quarter? What new spells, studies, or practices would support that? How will you make space for rest and recalibration? You don’t need a 20-point plan, but you do need a clear intention, a few practical supports, and a willingness to adjust as needed.

Tools You Can Use

Want to make your Magical Business Review even more powerful? Try:

  • A tarot or oracle spread with cards for reflection, lesson, and next steps
  • A simple mood/energy tracker over the past three months
  • A printable worksheet (let me know and I’ll make one!)
  • Voice memos or grimoire entries you can look back on each season

Whatever format you choose, make it sacred and enjoyable. This is your chance to honor how far you’ve come and then course-correct where needed.
