    When I moved a couple of years ago, I discovered that while I had about five boxes of Yule decor, I had over two dozen boxes of Halloweenery – it’s my favorite time of year!     So I like playing around with herbal dyes, and put together a list of some of the cool stuff that’s out there. People have been using plants to dye fabric, fibers, and even their skin for ages, so it’s a neat thing to start exploring. I thought I’d share some of the nifty ones I’ve found so far.     Pagan Craft Projects: Make a Measure Bag

    A measure bag is used in some Pagan traditions, including but not limited to a few forms of Wicca, as a way of forming a magical link between an individual and the group to which they belong. The measure bag is often incorporated into a practitioner’s initiation ritual. If you practice as a solitary, you can still use one as part of a self-dedication ritual to the gods of your tradition.
