About Patti... sort of.

Patti Wigington is a former staff writer from the Columbus Messenger newspaper, and her freelance articles have appeared in Llewellyn's Herbal Almanac, Twinshelp, Pediatrics for Parents, Pagewise and Gaea's Cauldron.  She also works as a contributing editor for Garden and Hearth.

Patti lives in Central Ohio with her husband and three kids, as well as a dog, two cats, a guinea pig, a corn snake and assorted fish.  When she's not writing, she spends her time puttering around her garden, volunteering in her kids' schools, and working on various home remodeling projects.
